Mo Williams

The last of the trio of heroes is Mo Williams. Acquired during the offseason, Williams was brought to be the backup point guard to Irving. Also his ability to score was heavily needed for the Cavaliers’ second unit. Of course Matthew Dellavadova is there, but his role is different. Being a defensive irritant and the traditional point guard are his main duties.

If Dellavedova happens to knock down a couple of jumpers, it’s a bonus to his team. Primarily the team relies on Williams to be the second scoring point guard of the team.

His presence can make this team go from good to dangerous. However he’s been slowed by a sore left knee that has left his status for the start of the playoffs undetermined. This is Williams’ second go-around with the Cavaliers. He left after James departed to Miami for multiple title runs.

This time around he wants things to be different and leave his mark on a good team on the cusp of being great. Here’s hoping he can get healthy in time to make my predictions come true.
