2. No Heart

There have been several instances when the Bulls have looked lifeless on the court. Sure, they didn’t totally cave in a 102-100 loss to the third-seeded Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.

But prior to their matchup against Atlanta, the Bulls were defeated in back-to-back games against the New York Knicks a week ago, a team that has been eliminated from postseason contention. The Bulls followed that up with an 111-89 loss to an Orlando Magic team that was without three of its top players.

Were these losses a coincidence?

Absolutely not. These losses merely reinforce the sentiment that this team is unable to summon the heart and/or will to play well when it matters the most.

Quite frankly, if you don’t play with enough urgency to beat trash teams, as Taj Gibson mentioned, then you don’t even deserve to make it to the playoffs.
