1. Schedule

Despite losing games to the likes of the Washington Wizards, New York Knicks (twice) and the Orlando Magic (twice) within the span of a month, the Bulls actually have a winning record (18-15) against teams that are worse than .500. This is one of the few bright spots in an otherwise disappointing season.

Unfortunately, of the nine remaining games on the schedule, six of those contests will be against teams that are currently vying for a playoff spot.

How have the Bulls fared against some of the upper-echelon opponents?

Not too great. In fact, they are just 18-22 against teams who are better than the .500 mark. Additionally, the Bulls will play six of their final nine games on the road. Considering they have dropped nine of their last 10 road contests, they will have their work cut out for them.

What does that mean looking ahead?

The way the Bulls have played this year, the only remaining opponent that can be penciled in as a sure win is the Philadelphia 76ers. And with a difficult slate of games, it is difficult to see the Bulls winning enough of those games to advance to the postseason.
