25. New Coach On The Block

As the Celtics transformed away from the second Big Three Era earlier in this decade, the team needed to take a fresh approach to coaching as well as player management and development. When Doc Rivers “walked away” from Boston after the 2012-13 season, the Celtics turned to Brad Stevens out of Butler University as their 17th head coach.

Bringing in the 36-year-old Stevens was both a bold and low-risk move for Danny Ainge. It has paid off handsomely since. Stevens has developed a positive reputation among younger players across the league and the Celtics are loaded with draft picks and trade material as the 2015-16 ends. With nearly $50 million in available cap space after this season, the Celtics appear poised to add at least one big name to their burgeoning lineup.

This one is No. 25 for a reason, but it has real potential to move up this list as the Celtics rebuild and reload.
