3. Frontcourt Depth A Thing Of The Past

The Bulls have already lost Joakim Noah for the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury. Pau Gasol, who has been out of the lineup the last two games with knee swelling, is expected to miss at least a few more games.

Cameron Bairstow has been experiencing issues with his back, and now it appears that Taj Gibson will be joining the list of inactive players after re-injuring his hamstring. One of positives for this Bulls team coming into the season was the depth they acquired at the forward and center positions.

Now, with injuries to their top frontcourt players, the Bulls find themselves in an unenviable position to say the least. The lone positive with all the injuries is that the younger players like Nikola Mirotic, Bobby Portis and Cristiano Felicio should receive more floor time.

The question is, will they be able to effectively pick up the slack until their veteran counterparts return to the lineup?
