10. Stanley Johnson, Detroit Pistons

We know about Stanley Johnson‘s talent and overall potential at the small forward position. But in recent weeks he’s been used as a shooting guard first to fill in for an injured Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and now in bigger lineups next to Marcus Morris and newly acquired Tobias Harris.

Whether his future is at the 2-guard spot or not Johnson has to improve his three-point shooting numbers (31.8 percent from deep this season) or else it limits what coach Stan Van Gundy can do in terms of putting versatility around Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson.

There’s no question Johnson will get in the gym this offseason and launch some jumpers, but in order for him to earn major minutes next season he has to turn into a legitimate offensive option and not just a throw-in player, especially if the Pistons are about to earn perennial playoff status.
