2003 The Seattle SuperSonics

This is the Jesus Shuttlesworth I grew up with. Ray Allen was a bad man in Milwaukee, he won rings in Boston and Miami, but it’s his time as a Sonic I remember best. The Allen Sonics weren’t a great team but they were fun, and they were lethal in the early video games. Allen, Rashard Lewis, Brent Barry, and Vladimir Radmanovic were throwing up the deep shots way before the Warriors made it a league wide staple.

The Deal

The SuperSonics parted with Seattle icon Gary Payton and Desmond Mason. The Milwaukee Bucks sent Ray Allen, Ronald Murray, Kevin Ollie, and a first-round pick that became Luke Ridnour for their trouble.
