10. Philadelphia 76ers: Jerami Grant, Syracuse

Original selection: 39th by the Philadelphia 76ers

2015-16 statistics: 9.2 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 1.5 APG, 13.47 PER

To think of how many teams passed on Jerami Grant in the first and second round is mind-blowing, but it was understandable at the time of the draft. Grant was an extremely skinny, 6’8″ freshman who struggles with shooting from three.

Now that there is a year sample size, Grant has showed his value especially on the defensive end. He is the leading the NBA among small forwards in blocks with 1.6 per game and has shown no fear when driving to the rim and dunking on an opposing big man.

For the Sixers situation, Grant fits perfectly. He’s become the consistent starter and has made improvements to make it safe to assume that he belongs there during this rebuilding process. As a one-and-done, Grant needs as much experience as possible, and Philadelphia is the perfect team in order for him to do so.
