4. Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards have a borderline superstar at point guard in John Wall, and an oft-injured, but generally productive, Bradley Beal at the 2 spot. Otto Porter Jr. has been a revelation at the 3, but there appears to be something missing.

Washington needs more help along the offensive interior than the perimeter, but Evans could be the cure to the Wizards’ ranking of dead last in isolation scoring.

Wall runs the show for Washington, and his ball-dominant playmaking abilities may not necessarily gel with Evans’ style and approach. Wall does an excellent job of creating openings for his teammates, however, and that would lead Evans to efficient cuts to the basket.

If nothing else, his ability to operate in the half court would alleviate pressure from Wall.

Evans is an excellent ball-handler who can create his own offense and find his teammates as a facilitator. Unfortunately, when such a player is either, A) Not a superstar, or, B) A poor shooter, they’re generally destined to thrive in the role of a sixth man.

Whether he were to start or come off the bench, Evans would be a vital addition to Washington’s one-man offense.
