The Utah Jazz

The Jazz need a point guard. Dante Exum is Utah’s starter at that spot, but he’s out for the season. Even if he wasn’t, the Jazz might still have interest in Teague. Mostly because unlike Exum, he can shoot.

With the Jazz featuring a frontcourt of Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors for the foreseeable future, spacing will obviously be an issue. Adding in a non-shooting point guard complicates matters further. Jeff Teague would be a great way for the Jazz to uncomplicate their offense.

The Hawks might be dubious about trading for Burks since he probably won’t play again until around the All-Star break, but he’s a legitimately good wing player. Neto is a nice fill-in at point guard to play behind Schroder, or maybe start over him if Atlanta feels like it.

The Jazz finally get their point guard, and Rodney Hood has been doing yeoman’s work in filling in for Burks already anyway. Utah’s starting five of Teague, Hood, Gordon Hayward, Favors and Gobert is a strong one that can likely get the Jazz a playoff spot this season.
