Top Four Cs

  1. Marcin Gortat (Wizards) – $7,100 vs. Celtics
  2. Karl-Anthony Towns (Timberwolves) – $6,900 @ Cavaliers
  3. Jared Sullinger (Celtics) – $5,500 @ Wizards
  4. Kelly Olynyk (Celtics) – $5,100 @ Wizards

Rationale:

  • Gortat is averaging 31.7 FPPG in three meetings with the Celtics this season. He’s been hot as of late with double-doubles in each of his last five games. He’s scoring 36.4 FPPG over that span and should play well again against the 21st team versus centers.
  • Towns scored 22 points on his way to a 33-fantasy point performance against the Cavs last time out. In his last three games, he’s scoring 47.g FPPG. Though Cleveland is fourth against centers, riding the hot hand should be a strong play with the poor play of the Cavs as of late.
  • The Celtics’ bigs have torched the Wizards this season. Sullinger (39 FPPG) and Olynyk (30.2 FPPG) have combined to score 69.2 FPPG in three meetings with the Wizards. Sullinger has a double-double in four of his last six games and Olynyk is shooting 9-for-13 (69.2 percent) from deep in his last four games. Though Washington is ninth against centers, the twin-headed attack have proven to have sustained success against them.
