Top Four SFs

  1. Gordon Hayward (Jazz) – $7,500 vs. Pistons
  2. Jae Crowder (Celtics) – $6,400 @ Wizards
  3. Tobias Harris (Magic) – $6,400 @ Grizzlies
  4. Kent Bazemore (Hawks) – $5,600 @ Nuggets

Rationale:

  • Hayward has turned up his scoring over his last three games, he’s averaging 28.0 points per game. That has led to him averaging 48.5 FPPG in that same span. Despite only scoring 21.5 fantasy points in a previous meeting with the Pistons, he should be a strong play since he’s getting more shots than he had against them. Detroit is third against small forwards.
  • Crowder’s played very well against the Wizards, scoring 37.1 FPPG in three meetings. The Wizards are last in opponent three-point percentage, which is where Crowder scores a lot of his points. Against the 24th team against small forwards, Crowder should be a strong play.
  • Harris is scoring 33.4 FPPG over his last four contests and has scored in double figures in four of his last five. His ability to rebound bodes well for his fantasy value with the Grizzlies as the third-worst team in defensive rebounding percentage (48.0 percent). Memphis is 16th against small forwards.
  • Bazemore has played well in his last three contests, averaging 28.6 FPPG. Lately, his increase in scoring has bailed out his inconsistency to get assists, though his rebounds have been on par with his season average. The Nuggets are 25th against small forwards.
