Rationale:

  • Green scored 55.8 fantasy points against the Cavs on Christmas Day. He’s only played two games in his last week, so he should be refreshed with the rest. He can impact the game in so many ways that he’s a good play against the 11th team versus power forwards.
  • Nowitzki scored 34.8 fantasy points against the Celtics in their first meeting. Nowitzki has a mismatch as a tall stretch-4. He should have a strong fantasy performance against a team that is 19th in rebounds and 25th against power forwards.
  • Johnson is a trustworthy in a power forward category that doesn’t have a lot of trust on Monday. Despite scoring 16.5 fantasy points the first time out against Dallas, he’s only missed return value twice in his last nine contests. Dallas is 24th against power forwards.
  • Lyles has come on strong in his last six games, scoring 24.8 FPPG. While his price has soared, he can save owners money by allowing them to spend elsewhere. Lyles is taking advantage of his increased minutes and should do so against against the 23rd team against power forwards.
