Isaiah Thomas is on fire. The 5’9″ sensation has evolved from a feel-good story who overcame the odds into one of the most dynamic offensive players in the NBA.

Over the past week, the Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, and New York Knicks found that out the hard way.

Thomas struggled against the Chicago Bulls, but rebounded by torching the Grizzlies for 35 points and eight assists on 11-of-19 shooting. Two days later, he tallied 34 points and eight dimes on a mark of 11-of-23 from the field against the Knicks.

With his team in dire need of a win, Thomas again put the Boston Celtics on his back with 28 points on 9-of-18 shooting during a 103-94 win over the Pacers.

Thomas has the Celtics in line to make a run at the 2016 NBA Playoffs. As Brad Stevens’ crew thrives without star power, the 26-year-old point guard has stepped up as the team leader in points and assists per game.

At No. 13 in the NBA points per game and No. 10 in assists per contest, it’d be hard to argue against Thomas as a deserving All-Star honoree.
