Paul Millsap has become one of the most well-rounded players in the NBA. The Atlanta Hawks capitalize on his versatility by tasking him with playing a limitless number of roles; most of which change on a nightly basis.

The numbers may not be conventional, but they illustrate how complete a player Millsap has become.

The 30-year-old power forward is averaging career-best marks in points, assists, steals and blocks per game. According to Basketball-Reference.com, he’s the only player averaging at least 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 block in 2015-16.

The last three players to do it before Millsap: DeMarcus Cousins in 2014-15, LeBron James in 2012-13, and Chris Webber in 2002-03.

Millsap’s most recent week was more of the consistently productive same. He scored 18 points in 25 minutes during a 126-98 blowout of the Philadelphia 76ers, had 20 points, eight rebounds, three assists, six blocks, and two steals in a 120-105 win over the Chicago Bulls, and tallied 20 points in 27 minutes of a lopsided loss to the Charlotte Hornets.

Millsap isn’t a household name, but maybe he should be.
