Best Bargains

Langston Galloway ($3,400) should be a good bargain on Wednesday. He scored 20.3 fantasy points against the Nets in their first meeting, while only shooting 3-for-9 (33 percent). He’s consistently playing 15-20 minutes per game, and that gives him enough time to make an impact on the second night of a back-to-back. The Nets rank 18th against shooting guards.

Maurice Harkless ($3,300) is another bargain that may be the best option if you need a sub-$4,000 player. He’s averaging 25.1 FPPG in two meetings with the Jazz this season. He’s consistently getting 20-plus minutes a game and is an important factor into the Trail Blazers rotations. Playing against the 21st-ranked team against small forwards means he should have a strong showing.

Players To Sit

Stephen Curry ($10,600) isn’t the strongest play of the elite tier. Two players, Westbrook and Cousins, are both in the same price range and have been playing better than Curry as of late. Curry has only beat his season average of 51.1 FPPG once over his last six contests.

Though he is playing the fifth-worst team against point guards, Curry has only averaged 41.7 FPPG in three games against the Nuggets. There are better options from the elite tier.

Paul George ($8,900) is another player to stay away from on Wednesday. He is averaging 39.2 FPPG in his last four contests and has only beaten his season average (43.6 FPPG) in one of those games. Playing on the second night of a back-to-back and traveling from Indianapolis to Boston isn’t as favorable as the Celtics traveling from New York to Boston.

George may have tired legs playing in his third game in four nights on Wednesday. It’s not a good recipe for success against the 16th-ranked team against small forwards.

Before getting to the best lineup for Wednesday, I want to add a few notes. Carmelo Anthony was averaging 43.2 FPPG over his last nine games before spraining his ankle (USA Today) and leaving Tuesday’s game against the Boston Celtics early.

With Blake Griffin out and DeAndre Jordan listed as questionable with flu-like symptoms, according to Fox Sports. Jordan’s league-leading 360 consecutive games played streak could end on Wednesday, which would allow Chris Bosh to potentially have a big night against the Clippers.
