Top Four Cs

  1. Dwight Howard (Rockets) – $7,300 vs. Timberwolves
  2. Al Horford (Hawks) – $7,200 @ Hornets
  3. Zaza Pachulia (Mavericks) – $6,300 @ Thunder
  4. Karl-Anthony Towns (Timberwolves) – $6,600 @ Rockets

Rationale:

  • Howard has had a great string of games, scoring 40.0 FPPG in his last six games. That includes three 50-fantasy point performances during that span. His strength could be too much to handle on the boards, with the Timberwolves ranking 23rd against centers.
  • Horford is scoring 35.3 FPPG in two meetings with the Hornets this season. He’s coming off of a 66.5 fantasy point performance on Saturday, when the Hawks last played. The extra rest should help him against the 18th ranked team against centers.
  • Pachulia has been the most consistent fantasy player over the past two weeks, scoring 35.4 FPPG in his last nine games. He hasn’t had a game lower than 32.75 fantasy points or one higher than 38.75 fantasy points during that stretch. Though he’s playing against the third-best team against centers, Pachulia’s consistency is tough to sit.
  • Towns is averaging 5.2 FPPG better on the road than at home. His agility and quickness makes him a good matchup against the Rockets, who are 18th against centers. However, Towns hasn’t cracked the 30 fantasy point mark in his last two games.
