Top Four Point Guards

  1. Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets ($8,700) vs. Phoenix Suns
  2. Kyle Lowry, Toronto Raptors ($8,900) vs. Brooklyn Nets
  3. John Wall, Washington Wizards ($9,900) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
  4. Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder ($10,700) vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Rationale:

  • The Nets are in the lower third overall vs. opposing PGs and Lowry has fallen below 38 fantasy points just once in his past four contests.
  • Wall and Westbrook are interesting cases because their opponents are typically tough against PGs but they’ve both done well against them in the earlier meetings this season; however Wall gets the nod due to his full stat line of 35 points, four boards, 10 assists, and five steals in his previous meeting with Cleveland.
  • Westbrook managed a double-double (13 points, 16 assists) in his first game with Memphis but (as I predicted) Kevin Durant stole the show that night. But with KD unlikely to play in the rematch, Westbrook becomes more of a boom-or-bust option since he could either go berserk or get stifled by a Memphis team that is typically adept at keeping his position under wraps.
