Top Four PFs

  1. Anthony Davis (Pelicans) – $10,300 vs. Mavericks
  2. Kristaps Porzingis (Knicks) – $6,700 @ Heat
  3. Ryan Anderson (Pelicans) – $5,600 vs. Mavericks
  4. Tristan Thompson (Cavaliers) – $5,200 @ Wizards

Rationale:

  • Davis is the second-most expensive player, and with good reason. He scored 50 fantasy points in his last meeting with the Mavericks. He had 31 points and 14 rebounds in that contest while shooting 59.1 percent. Dallas will be on a back-to-back and is 20th against power forwards.
  • Porzingis is averaging 38.5 FPPG against the Heat this year, despite the Heat playing fourth against power forwards. He’s averaging 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game against the Heat, which are all better than his season averages. With a tough category to draft from, Porzingis may provide the best value.
  • Anderson is averaging 35.7 FPPG in three games against the Mavericks this year. His 9.3 rebounds per game against Dallas is three better than his season average of 6.3 rebounds per game. Anderson’s scoring ability makes him a strong fantasy threat.
  • Thompson is playing well over his last three games, averaging 26.2 FPPG. That’s slightly better than his 22.6 FPPG on the season. He only scored six points on a 33 percent shooting night in his first meeting with the Wizards. He should shoot a higher percentage and play well against the 10th-best team against power forwards.
