Top Four SFs

  1. Paul George (Pacers) – $9,100 @ Magic
  2. LeBron James (Cavaliers) – $9,500 @ Wizards
  3. Carmelo Anthony (Knicks) – $8,200 @ Heat
  4. Al-Farouq Aminu (Trail Blazers) – $5,100 vs. Clippers

Rationale:

  • George has played very well over his last three games and is averaging 52.1 FPPG during that span. He scored 43 fantasy points in his first meeting with the Magic. He was 3-for-6 from three-point land and also had seven assists. Orlando is 14th against small forwards this season, but George’s hot streak and prior success makes him the top play.
  • James scored 47.3 fantasy points in his previous meeting with the Wizards, despite having nine turnovers. He will have a significant mismatch against Washington, who is 25th against small forwards this season. James’ price of $9,500 is the cheapest he’s seen in his past 10 games.
  • Anthony is playing well over his last 10 games, averaging 41.4 FPPG. He is a good play against the Heat, despite only scoring 32.6 fantasy points in their previous meeting. He struggled shooting that night, only hitting 34.5 percent of his shots and shooting 1-for-8 from three-point land. The Heat are 23rd against small forwards.
  • Aminu is averaging 27.9 FPPG in two contests against the Clippers this season. A combination of his rebounding and scoring helped him reach that number, despite shooting 25 percent against them. He’s averaging 25.5 FPPG in his last four games and will battle the 13th-best team against small forwards.
