Top Four PGs

  1. Russell Westbrook (Thunder) – $11,600 vs. Grizzlies
  2. Kemba Walker (Hornets) – $8,200 @ Suns
  3. Brandon Knight (Suns) – $7,400 vs. Hornets
  4. Jameer Nelson (Nuggets) – $5,500 @ Timberwolves

Rationale:

  • Westbrook is the most expensive player on Wednesday night. He’s averaging 53.9 FPPG over his last eight games and 59.9 FPPG in two games against the Grizzlies. He’s put on a show with a 15-assist game and a 12-assist game in two of his last three games. Westbrook is worth the price tag.
  • Walker is facing the worst team against point guards this season. He’s red hot too, scoring 47.2 FPPG in his last six games. He has found his success with his scoring, but also by assisting on shots and rebounding. At $8,200, Walker should provide good value.
  • Knight has been slightly inconsistent, but is averaging 40.5 FPPG in his last two games and has improved. Despite the Hornets ranking 10th in defense against point guards, Knight is going to need to be the player that scores for the Suns.
  • Nelson provides good value at $5,500 against the Timberwolves, who are 17th against point guards. He’s averaging 26.6 FPPG in three games against the Wolves this season. That is 5.3 FPPG better than his 21.3 FPPG season average.
