Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. C.J. McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers ($8,400) vs. Memphis Grizzlies
  2. Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors ($7,600) vs. Charlotte Hornets
  3. Rodney Hood, Utah Jazz ($5,300) vs. Houston Rockets
  4. James Harden, Houston Rockets ($10,000) vs. Utah Jazz

Rationale:

  • McCollum is averaging 53.9 FPPG over his last three outings (prior to Sunday night’s game), and tonight he gets a Memphis team that just ceded 43.6 fantasy points to Rodney Hood.
  • Thompson is averaging 43.1 FPPG over his last two contests and the Hornets are third-most generous overall to opposing SGs on FanDuel NBA.
  • The Rockets are in the bottom third overall vs. off-guards, and Hood (including the aforementioned career game vs. the Grizz) is averaging 41.5 FPPG over his last two contests.
  • Harden’s splits vs. Utah from last season are just OK by his standards (19.8 PPG, 8.0 APG, 6.3 RPG) but since he is the top SG over the last 15 days on ESPN’s player rater he still merits consideration.
