4. Bulls vs. Knicks 1992
After finally getting by the Pistons in 1991, en route to their first title, there was a new team who challenged the Bulls both mentally and physically. That team in question was the New York Knicks.
Chicago breezed by the Knicks in the first found of the ’91 playoffs, but when these teams squared off in the 1992 Eastern Conference Semifinals, it wasn’t the same story. Although the Bulls eventually won the series in seven games, the Knicks had proven that they were a legitimate contender in the eastern conference.
While Patrick Ewing and the Knicks were seeking to obtain a measure of revenge against Jordan and the Bulls, once again, the Knicks were turned away as the Bulls won the game 89-77 behind 42 points from Jordan.
