The Milwaukee Bucks Handing The 24-0 Warriors Their First Loss

Even for most Bucks fans, this was a complete shock. Milwaukee came into the Golden State game 9-15, fresh off a pair of losses. The Bucks are 24th in offensive rating, 26th in defensive rating and 13th in the Eastern Conference, even with the Warriors win under their belts.

Simply put, the Milwaukee Bucks have been bad. Some might even say terrible. But they’ve been the only team to beat the Golden State Warriors, despite all the odds. The truth is that the Bucks have been underpreforming all season, and that this huge win may be the momentum push in the right direction they needed.

The Bucks all played out of their minds against Golden State, but even if Milwaukee got close to the level they were against the Warriors all season they’d definitely be in the playoff race in the East. The Bucks have talented players, they just need to put together the puzzle pieces and make everything fit together well.

Even if they can’t get going though, this win will remain. The streak-busting Bucks beat the Warriors, something that no team had done since the 2015 NBA Finals. Now if Milwaukee can go into the Bay Area and get a win against the Dubs on Friday, I’ll be truly surprised!
