Top Four Point Guards

  1. Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers ($9,500) vs. Minnesota
  2. Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets ($7,700) vs. Chicago
  3. Rajon Rondo, Sacramento Kings ($8,000) vs. Houston
  4. Elfrid Payton, Orlando Magic ($6,500) vs. L.A. Clippers

Rationale:

  • Minnesota and Houston are in the bottom third vs. opposing PGs, although the Rockets have improved in that regard since defensive stopper Patrick Beverley’s return.
  • Lillard has been on fire lately, with just one game below 40 fantasy points in his last seven contests.
  • Last season Kemba Walker averaged 20.7 PPG against Chicago, which was an improvement on his 17.3 PPG overall; the Bulls are middle of the pack versus PGs.
  • The Clips will be without CP3 and probably J.J. Redick as well, so Payton gets rated fourth almost by default. The man whose ‘fro draws rampant comparisons to Buckwheat has only fallen below 29 fantasy points once in his last five contests, but low 30s would be ideal at that cost.
