The Atlanta Hawks sent four players to the 2015 NBA All-Star Game. None of those athletes have been as consistently disrespected amongst the general public as point guard Jeff Teague.

Written off in the, “Top 10 point guards,” discussion and criticized as a player who shouldn’t be starting in Atlanta, Teague is ready to silence his critics.

Teague was an unstoppable force against the New York Knicks, scoring at will and pacing the Hawks to victory. He blew past whomever was defensively assigned to him and created as both a scorer and a facilitator.

Obvious as it should be, Teague played like an All-Star with 23 points and eight assists on 7-of-12 shooting from the field.

Atlanta suffered a lopsided loss to the Detroit Pistons in the opener, but even then, Teague played well. His turnovers were an issue, but he was one of the few players generating offense as a scorer.

Despite being an All-Star in 2015, Teague has something to prove–and he’s ready to do so.
