9. Josh Selby — Kansas

In a class that featured guys like Kyrie Irving, Jared Sullinger, Brandon Knight and Tobias Harris, Josh Selby took Rivals’ top overall spot in the 2010 class.

Selby’s short Jayhawk career didn’t get off to a promising start, as he was suspended for nine games following a NCAA investigation about Selby and his friendship with Carmelo Anthony‘s business manager, Robert “Bay” Frazier.

Throw in a share of injuries after the suspension, and Selby’s one season in Lawrence wasn’t all that it was hyped to be. Selby played in 26 of KU’s 38 games during the 2010-11 season, and averaged 7.9 points in just over 20 minutes per contest.

Selby was later selected 49th overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2011 NBA Draft.
