Trey Lyles

The crown jewel of the 2015 NBA Draft for the Jazz was none other than Trey Lyles. Dennis Lindsey loves working on projects and Lyles is another project that he’ll enjoy.

Lyles played at Kentucky and we got to see him shine playing on a team that had three other lottery picks. Now he’ll play in Utah and he’ll have to come off the bench behind Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors. While watching Lyles in the summer league you’ll have to look for his ability to score in the post.

If Lyles can show a unique ability to get the basketball on the low block and score it’ll help expand the offense. In addition look out for Lyles ability to defend. The defensive aspect of Lyles game is the area that needs the most improvement. If he can show the effort on the defensive end today it’s only the beginning of a long career.
