Spencer Dinwiddie

Spencer Dinwiddie was on the Pistons’ roster last season and provided Stan Van Gundy with a surprise boost off the bench after Brandon Jennings went down with an injury. After the All-Star break, Dinwiddie averaged six points and two assists in just more than 13 minutes per game. However Dinwiddie struggled with his shot, shooting just 19 percent from 3.

For a player like Dinwiddie who took 39 percent of his shots from behind the arc, that percentage is unacceptable. Summer League will provide the first indication if Dinwiddie has improved his poor shooting mechanics.  If he has used the offseason to improve his shot, Pistons fans can expect to see him on the regular-season roster as a backup point guard once again.
