Jordan Mickey

If the Jazz decide to get a perimeter player with the No. 12 pick they will need another big man.

Trevor Booker‘s status with the team is still uncertain as the Jazz have a team option on his contract (which they should wisely pick up). Either way the Jazz should still get another big man and that’s where Jordan Mickey comes in.

Mickey has been a monster during the NBA draft combine and he’s showed that the 15.4 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks per game weren’t a fluke in his sophomore season. Mickey left before his stock was at its peak and that’s his fault. His talent will be a proven commodity on a team with athletic, long armed, bigs.

Mickey could fill in at power forward and give Favors an advantage at center offensively. The Jazz needed another athletic big, check. Low risk high reward, check.

Save money, great deal. Mickey would be another great addition to Swat Lake City.
