John Wall is among the most talked about players as the Washington Wizards prepare for game five against the Atlanta Hawks. This game is very important, because the winner of this game will go up 3-2 in the series, and be a single game away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Wall has been out of the last two games with five non-displaced fractures in his left hand, and announced earlier today that the swelling had gone down. Wall also admitted that if he didn’t feel like himself, he was not going to want to play.

Now, it looks like Wall is at a point where he can play. Wall has been wearing tape on his hand all week, taking some off periodically and doing light warm-ups, shooting, and dribbling as he felt he could. He took off tape more and more throughout the week, and as he came out to warm up pregame, fans got a look at something they were hopeful for.

This is great news for the team. Wall is a huge factor in the series, and although the Wizards have been able to do decently without Wall, they play better with him on the floor. This could be the death of the Hawks. Their franchise record season could come to an end, all due to the quick recovery of Wall and his hand.

We will see what happens with Wall and how sore his hand may be. Hopefully, he’s close to full strength and ready to go. Although he may have to play a bit more carefully as he is at risk of his hand becoming swelled again, he can still make a large impact.
