D-Fence, D-Fence

The biggest reason for the Utah Jazz turn around recently has been because of their defense. The defense of the Jazz has been stifling, suffocating, and very tenacious.

The Jazz have played awesomely on the defensive side of the basketball and they quietly have put together one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. In fact, the Jazz currently rank as the No. 4 best defense in the league when it comes to points allowed. This season the Jazz have allowed their opponents to only score 96.6 points per game.

Since the All-Star break the Jazz haven’t allowed a single opponent to reach more than 100 points. What’s been more impressive is that the Jazz have aonly allowed 82.2 points per game since the All-Star break. They’ve also held great scoring teams such as the Portland Trail Blazers and San Antonio Spurs to season-lows in points.
