10. Nikola Mirotic – Chicago Bulls/PF

Last Week: NR

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Nikola Mirotic in our rookie rankings, but thankfully because of his play this week he finds himself within our rankings. Mirotic played against the Milwaukee Bucks and had himself one of his best games in a while. Mirotic gave the Bucks a variety of moves offensively including a beautiful fade away step back jumper that he hit over Bucks forward Jared Dudley.

Also, Mirotic was shooting from the three-point line and was looking like a long-range sniper. Mirotic finished with 16 points, 14 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocked shots in a 87-71 win against the Bucks.

Moving forward Mirotic is going to get a lot more responsibility on his plate because of the surgery that Derrick Rose is having. The Chicago Bulls are going to need Mirotic to step up and start to score a lot more if they want to continue winning during Rose’s absence.
