The J.Cole – “Love Yours” Section (Honorable Mention)

Elijah Millsap – Utah Jazz/SG

Elijah Millsap has been playing so well recently for the Utah Jazz and his energy is one of the reasons why the Jazz have won recently. His biggest impact is on the defensive side of the basketball and because of his defense the Jazz held two playoff teams (Portland, San Antonio) to season lows in points. The best game of the week for Millsap came against the Los Angeles Lakers as he finished with 17 points on 5-for-8 shooting, seven rebounds, and one assist in the 100-97 loss.

Joe Ingles – Utah Jazz/SG

For as much credit as Elijah Millsap is getting, Joe Ingles deserves equal adulation. Ingles this week had multiple awesome performances against the San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers. Ingles had 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals against the Spurs. He also had eight points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals against the Trail Blazers.

Shabazz Napier – Miami Heat/PG

Shabazz Napier’s been one of the most inconsistent rookies this season. However, this week when he played against the New York Knicks, he was on fire. Napier went 4-for-5 from the three-point line, and finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, six assists and one steal in the 111-87 win. In addition, it’s also good for Napier to play behind a great point guard in the newly acquired Goran Dragic. Napier should become a better player under Dragic’s tutelage.
