Point Guard: Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors)
17.5 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 4.8 APG, 0.5 BPG, 2 SPG
The Toronto Raptors have struggled of late, losing their top seed in the Eastern Conference to the Atlanta Hawks and sliding to third in the East. They’ve recently returned to winning ways, winning three of their last four games.
Kyle Lowry was also voted to his first All-Star Game this week, beating out Dwyane Wade for a starting guard spot down the stretch. He averaged 17.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. He hasn’t returned to the high standards he set during the start of the season, but his recent resurgence is a good sign for the Raptors.
The Raptors are in a position to win the Eastern crown for the first time in a long time. Their hopes rest on Lowry’s shoulders, and they will only go as far as he can take them.
