Saturday, Jan. 10 – at New York Knicks

Charlotte has done their best to squander the series against the New York Knicks. They lost the first game when they certainly shouldn’t have and nearly blew a huge lead in the second contest.

It’s no secret the Knicks have been a disappointing team this season – they’ve already lost over 25 games. If you want to make the playoffs, these are the kinds of teams you have to beat. Letting wins slip away to teams that are in tanking mode is a surefire way to be watching the playoffs from the couch.

I’m going to sound like a broken record here, but so be it: the Hornets can’t afford to give anymore games away. They were too generous to begin the season. Charlotte is clearly a better team than New York, and they need to prove it on the court in this game if they want any chance at squeaking into the playoffs.
