Utah Jazz: 5 Reasons Why Andrei Kirilenko’s Return Makes Sense
He’ll Have A Better Stint With the Jazz
Since Andrei Kirilenko made the arrival to Brooklyn to play for the Nets the results have been disastrous. Before playing for the Nets the former NBA All-Star only had one year where he averaged single digit points. His lowest output of his career was 8.3 points a game back in 2007.
Since donning the black and white for the Nets he’s only appeared in 52 games, averaging 4.4 points in 17.2 minutes per game.
The time in Brooklyn for Kirilenko has been a tarnish to his legacy to say the least. When most fans in the 2000s watched the Utah Jazz they saw the man who’s also known as “AK-47” (one of the best nicknames ever), absolutely hound his opponents into making terrible decisions. Kirilenko was one of the reasons to watch the Jazz back in 2000s, and he’s so far gone from those times it’s not even funny.
There’s no way on this Jazz roster he could average 0.4 points a game as he’s doing currently for the Nets.
