2. Jared Sullinger

Jared Sullinger averaged a respectable 13.3 points and 8.1 rebounds in 27.6 minutes per game in his second year. He gets the nod as the Celtics second-best player due to being more consistent than Jeff Green, whose game stats fluctuate throughout the season. Going into the 2014-15 season with no back issues, Sullinger is poised for a big year.

He already put up 23 points in 23 minutes in the Celtics second preseason game, beating the New York Knicks 106-86. Sullinger shot an impressive 9-of-12 from the field, and showed off the impressive footwork, rebounding and perimeter skills that encouraged Danny Ainge to take a chance on him two years ago.

Sullinger has the most to gain from a healthy Rajon Rondo. The Celtics one-two game between Sullinger and Rondo could be key for great success in the Eastern Conference.
