29. Sacramento Kings (Darren Collison & Ben McLemore)

The Sacramento Kings turned heads when they shipped breakout performer Isaiah Thomas to the Phoenix Suns via sign-and-trade. Sacramento made nearly as many waves when it signed point guard Darren Collison to a three-year deal.

Collison steps in to provide speed, defense and high-quality playmaking, but he’s alone as a proven commodity in the backcourt. Ben McLemore was disappointing in 2013-14 and Nik Stauskas has promise, but he’s only a rookie.

Sacramento has two star-caliber scorers in DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay, but its backcourt offers nothing more than ifs and maybes.
