Considering this, a team’s roster needs players who can, indeed, put the ball in the hoop. Taking a look at today’s NBA, the teams that find the most success are those who feature three or four big-time scorers.

The Charlotte Hornets qualified for the postseason last year because of their defense, but it was their shoddy offense that held them back from true-contender status.

The team instantly improved on both ends of the floor when they signed Lance Stephenson, but calling them title contenders is a bit far-fetched at this point in time. They need one more piece to make the leap.

Enter Jeff Green.
