Three-Point Shooting

Teague’s 3-point shooting last season was about as inconsistent as can be. Generally, looking at a player coming off of a season average of 32.9 percent, with a career average of 34 percent, we’d just move on and decide that 3-point shooting shouldn’t be priority.

For Teague it’s a little different though, his shooting numbers seem to fluctuate in extremes, and if he could even just find a consistent middle ground, it would boost his performance.

As an example of this, let’s break down Teague’s month-by-month 3-point shooting performances from last season. Starting with the negatives, in October (one game), November and January, Teague averaged 25, 19.5 and 16.7 percent respectively.

For December, February, March and April though, his numbers were at an impressive 40, 38.1, 38.3 and 42.9 percent respectively. If Teague can find a happy medium, it would add an extra dimension to his game.
