Wang Zhi-Zhi

The ever first Chinese player in NBA, Wang Zhi-Zhi was originally picked by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round (36th overall), and played two seasons with the Clippers.

It’s still a mystery as to why Wang Zhi-Zhi got his shot in the NBA. He didn’t possess any of the strengths that make a big man attractive or even usable. He did had a decent offensive game, capable of hitting the perimeter jumper and scoring the ball down low. However the 6’11 Zhi-Zhi had trouble defending the post, wasn’t very adept at blocking shots and usually wore cylinder blocks for sneakers when trying to stay in front of his man.
