Millsap’s Path To Selection

Paul Millsap had been an outstanding player since he arrived in the NBA with the Utah Jazz, but in a loaded frontcourt, in the tougher conference, he always seemed to fly just below the radar. His move to Atlanta last summer not only freed him, but gave him greater responsibility and a fresh approach to the game.

Millsap has always been a physical player, a talented rebounder and a proficient inside scorer, but his game has grown further with the Hawks. Never before known as a 3-point shooter, Millsap made 35.8 percent of his 212 attempts last season, adding another dimension to his game as a genuine stretch 4.
