Confidence

The NBA is far from being the most secure form of living that a person can earn. Sure, the mega stars of the league accumulate colossal amounts of money on guaranteed salaries, but for guys further down the pecking order it can be a very different story.

Reports suggest that the first two years of Dinwiddie’s contract are guaranteed, and if that is true, it’s very significant.

It should be a boost to Dinwiddie’s confidence to know that the organization trusts in him, and his ability to return to full health. It also gives him the luxury of taking his time, and not rushing back from injury, meaning first and foremost the aim will be to return to 100 percent health.
