Team Spirit

Coming into an NBA locker room filled with established names, and veterans of the league can be an intimidating environment for young players to have to adjust to. With the current Pistons group having a particularly young core, things seem a little bit different though.

Giving Dinwiddie a three year deal now lets his teammates know that he’s going to be around into the future, and also gives him time to get to know them all before he ever takes to the court. Judging by their respective social media accounts, Dinwiddie and star center Andre Drummond already seem to have hit it off, and the pair even watched the Pistons Summer League games together in Orlando.
