6) Summer League

Watching the NBA Summer League has its value. Many players bring a lot of energy and there are enough bright spots and impressive individual performances of which to take note.

You get to see young, established NBA players on the rise and new draftees in action against each other while seeing if some of the more borderline participants have what it takes to find their ways onto NBA rosters.

But since many of them won’t, it also means watching players who overall, provide a quality of play that’s often as tough to watch as the unappealing practice-style uniforms they wear during the Summer League.
