The Celebration Swag:

Where would irrational confidence guys be without their irrational confidence? Despite leading the team in scoring, Young also took 14 shots per game and made about 43 percent of them. Make no mistake, Nick Young is a gunner and if you give him the ball, he will shoot it. If you get his rebound, do not give it to him, for he will shoot it again.

But there were plenty of occasions when Nick Young’s Shoot Multiple Times, Ask Questions Never approach was a sight to behold. We’ll get to his best game(s) of the season in a minute, but there was also the time Young’s irrational confidence reached the heights of Mount Olympus before this titan of swag was struck back down to earth by the basketball gods.

Just look at the way Nick Young celebrates the jump shot, arms outstretched, almost as if he’s gracing the crowd right then and there with his supreme gift of entertainment. Alas, the ball did not drop in the cup as he anticipated. But even though Nick Young looked foolish to most of the world in that moment for celebrating a shot that didn’t even go in, the result was still the same: He did still grace the world with the gift of entertainment. Swaggy, you modern day Gladiator, you.
