3. Chris Kaman

Kaman may not sound like a name that the Hornets should target, but he would make a lot of sense for Charlotte.

They could use an upgrade at the center position, but they likely won’t have the type of money or assets needed to acquire one of the better players in the game. There were times last season in Los Angeles that Kaman played like a legitimate starting center, and he would definitely be an upgrade for the Hornets.

He has a polished offensive post game, and he can step out and hit the mid-range jumper as well. Al Jefferson is the go-to guy in the post, and Kaman would be happy being the No. 4 or No. 5 scoring option in the starting lineup on a cheap contract.
