“I don’t think the Cleveland trade rumors are outlandish at all.  They have a great young foundation.” – Kevin Love

With that one statement, Kevin Love opened the door for further speculation and made a trade seem like a legitimate possibility. Love is a known asset, and a known contract.

And Love has apparently made it known that he will opt out of his contract next summer.  Simply put, one year of Kevin Love is not even remotely enough to give up the top pick for, particularly if the Cavaliers believe that Embiid (or Wiggins/Parker) could be a star.

But…if Love is willing to pick up his 2015-16 player option, then things could get interesting real quick.
