2. Dallas Mavericks

Dallas isn’t one of the teams that is most talked about when speaking of an Irving trade, but they make a lot of sense. Irving would add the extra scoring punch that the Mavericks need as Dirk Nowitzki continues to get older, and he would add a nasty duo in the back-court with Monta Ellis. He would be able to put his teammates in better positions to score, and would be able to put up the necessary points to take pressure off of Ellis and Nowitzki. Mark Cuban has made it clear that he wants to bring in another star player this offseason, and Irving would be the perfect fit for what they’re looking for.
